Abstract
Organizacijsko ponašanje je područje istraživanja koje proučava učinak što ga pojedinci, grupe i strukture imaju na ponašanje unutar organizacija u svrhu primjenjivanja toga znanja za poboljšanje učinkovitosti organizacije. Organizacijsko ponašanje je istraživačko područje, što znači da je osobito područje stručnosti s općim korpusom znanja. Ono proučava tri odrednice ponašanja u organizacijama: pojedince, grupe i strukturu. Organizacijsko ponašanje primijenjena je bihevioralna znanost, izgrađena na doprinosima iz brojnih drugih bihevioralnih disciplina. Glavna su takva područja psihologija i socijalna psihologija, sociologija i antropologija. Doprinos psihologije uglavnom je na razini pojedinca ili na mikrorazini analize, dok su druge discipline doprinijele shvaćanju pojmova, poput grupnih procesa i organiziranja.
Abstract (english)
Organizational behavior is an area of research that studies the effect that individuals, groups, and structures have on behavior within organizations in order to apply that knowledge to improve organizational performance. Organizational behavior is a research area, which means that it is a particular area of expertise with a general corpus of knowledge. It studies three determinants of behavior in organizations: individuals, groups, and structure. Organizational behavior is applied behavioral science, built on contributions from a number of other behavioral disciplines. The main such areas are psychology and social psychology, sociology and anthropology. The contribution of psychology is mostly at the individual level or at the micro level of analysis, while other disciplines have contributed to the understanding of concepts, such as group processes and organization.
