Abstract
Za poklopce grotla karakteristično je da se nalaze na trupu broda, a osiguravaju jednostavniji pristup teretu na brodu. Kod brodova za okomit pristup teretu otvori grotla nalaze se na glavnoj palubi i međupalubi, dok kod brodova za horizontalni pristup teretu isti nalaze na pramcu, krmi ili bokovima broda. Osnovna namjena poklopaca grotala je osigurati pristup teretu zbog prekrcaja u luci i osigurati sigurnost i nepropusnost tijekom plovidbe. Poklopci grotla izrađuju se sukladno Međunarodnoj konvenciji o teretnoj vodnoj liniji iz 1966. godine. Poklopci grotala razlikuju se prema načinu pokretanja pri otvaranju i zatvaranju, a klasificirani su u nekoliko kategorija: poklopci grotala za jednosmjerno povlačenje, poklopci grotala za sklapanje, poklopci grotala za direktno povlačenje, poklopci grotala za skladištenje namatanjem, poklopci grotala za uzdužno i bočno kotrljanje, poklopci grotala za podizanje i kotrljanje, klizni poklopci grotala u međupalublju, pontonski poklopci grotla, teleskopski poklopci grotla i poklopci grotla za fleksibilno namatanje.
Abstract (english)
The hatch covers are characterized by being located on the hull of the ship, and provide easier access to the cargo on the ship. In the case of ships for vertical access to cargo, the hatch openings are located on the main deck and intermediate deck, while in the case of ships for horizontal access to cargo, they are located on the bow, stern or sides of the ship. The main purpose of the hatch covers is to ensure access to cargo due to transhipment in the port and to ensure safety and tightness during navigation. Manhole covers are manufactured in accordance with the 1966 International Convention on Freight Water Lines. Hatch covers differ according to the method of opening and closing, and are classified into several categories: one-way hatch covers, folding hatch covers, direct pull hatch covers, roll-up storage hatch covers, longitudinal and lateral rolling hatch covers hatch covers for lifting and rolling, sliding hatch covers in the intermediate deck, pontoon hatch covers, telescopic hatch covers and hatch covers for flexible winding.
